Sheppard Square is currently undergoing a HOPE VI revitalization. LMHA does not expect to have units available at Sheppard Square until 2013 since we are in the process of moving residents. Once the site is emptied then we must demolish buildings, followed by new infrastructure (roads, sewers, etc.), then followed by construction of new units. Upon completion, the relocated Sheppard residents will have the first opportunity to move back to the units set aside for low-income families. |
