Rental Information and Application Process

Overview: The Villages of Park DuValle is one of the most outstanding 
examples of neighborhood revitalization in the nation. Park DuValle isn't just a neighborhood; it's a way of life that puts great value on the details that make a community home. Building on Louisville's rich traditions of neighborhood and community design, the development includes a mixed-income community of rental and homeownership units. It is enhanced with civic, recreational and commercial activity. The Villages consist of single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, sixplexes, townhouses, a 59-unit senior building, and over 5,500 square feet of commercial space. There are one, two, three, and four bedroom units, some of which are accessible/adaptable.

Location: From Interstate 264; Exit Bells Lane/Algonquin Parkway; Proceed to Algonquin Parkway, turn right; turn left onto Russell Lee Drive. The Clubhouse and rental office is located about one-quarter mile down on the left.

Amenities: Each unit has a porch or deck; an in-unit security system; 
fire detection system; wash/dryer hook-up; dishwasher; garbage disposal; central air/heating, and cable/internet access. The on-site clubhouse, which includes a swimming pool and computer lab, is located in the center of this beautifully landscaped neighborhood. Additionally, the Park DuValle Community Health Center, located in the commercial district, provides state-of-the-art health and wellness programs for residents and families within the surrounding area. There are two public schools - Carter/DuValle Traditional Elementary School and Kennedy Montessori Magnet School.

Rent Structure: Rent will vary according to the income limits and unit size.

Criteria: The head of household must be: 1) Employed; 2) Enrolled in an accredited educational institution, bonafide training program or engaged in a self-sufficiency program; or 3) receive an "assisted income allowance".

Application Process

To apply for a rental unit in this facility, you must complete an application that will require income and prior rental/leasing information. You will also be required to provide signed certification, verification and authorization forms for a credit and criminal history background check.
