DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LEASED HOUSING
Louisville Metro Housing Authority’s (LMHA) mission is to set a standard of operational excellence in providing quality, affordable housing opportunities for residents to achieve self-sufficiency and an enhanced quality of life, and collaborating with community partners to build strong, viable neighborhoods. LMHA serves over 15,000 households in Louisville through public housing and housing choice vouchers.
The Louisville Metro Housing Authority is seeking a dynamic leader with deep knowledge of and experience with the Housing Choice Voucher program. The right candidate will help guide a team focused on administering the largest program at LMHA as systems and processing are modernized. LMHA administers more than 11,000 Housing Choice Vouchers throughout the metro area, working with 2,700+ landlords and numerous community partners.
The position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to a large Housing Choice Voucher Program. The position supervises managerial, administrative and subordinate staff and performs related work as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sociology, or a related field. Five-(5) years of experience working with a Housing Choice Voucher program. Strong track record of successfully managing large teams, experience guiding teams through reorganizations a plus.
Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations. Experience with Moving to Work agencies a plus.
Experience with Yardi software a plus. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Assist with professional work of considerable difficulty relative to capital investment planning, asset development and repositioning, and acquisition including research and data analysis. Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or a related field. Three (3) years’ experience working with HUD Mixed-Finance projects, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit regulations, and HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Project Based Voucher Program. An equivalent combination of training or experience may be substituted. Minimum salary is $34.48 an hour. COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
Responsible for helping to ensure that LMHA Section 8 programs remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and guidance documents, in a manner that supports the effective and efficient administration of these programs. Bachelor’s degree in the area of Public Administration, Planning, or a related field. Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position or field. RESIDENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Responsible for organizing and advising resident council boards. Organizes and coordinates resident activities. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field. Two (2) years experience in community, organization and/or social work. An equivalent combination of training and education may be substituted. Minimum salary is $28.95 an hour. EXTERMINATOR
Responsible for spraying buildings and grounds. Releases chemicals, sets traps and baiting to rid premises and grounds of pests. Prepares units and buildings for fumigating and spraying. $19.17/hr. High School graduation or equivalent. One year related experience, and a valid driver’s license. An equivalent combination of education or experience may be substituted. Must pass the International Property Maintenance Test and be certified by the State of Kentucky to apply pesticides within six months of employment. HOUSING SPECIALIST
Performs eligibility and benefit determination work for Section 8 participants. Two years of college and two years of eligibility work experience in housing assistance or other governmental assistance programs. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must have a valid driver’s license. Salary is $19.17/hr. MAINTENANCE WORKER II & III
High school graduate or its equivalent. Must have two (2) to five (5) years experience in the skilled trades (i.e. Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC). Must possess a valid driver’s license. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Minimum salary $18.05 an hour.
